Sea water is 832 times as dense as air, providing a six mile per hour ocean
current with more kinetic energy than a 217 mile per hour wind, say experts. It
is a very powerful driver to compress air. We all live inside the ocean of
compressed air even without feeling the atmospheric pressure. Air is highly
elastic by nature and capable of storing large amounts of energy that is
extremely light weight, non explosive, and non corrosive storage medium. Until
now this source has been expensive because the energy used to compress air was
enormous. Thanks to the new “full wave curve energy extraction” technology that

We all live in the ocean of
compressed air approximately 14.7 lb. per square inch at sea level which is
highly elastic. Example: If 8 sq ft air is compressed into 1 sq ft, its

Wave Power Plant, Inc. was founded
in 2006 to develop and operate very low-cost, patent pending, coastal waves

Energy pipeline to all
cities
Like natural gas pipeline @ 500 PSI pressure, compressed air can be supplied to
towns and cities for plug in and plug out. Local power producers can make
compressed air by solar by using wind, river, tidal, biomass, boats movement,
automobile shock pumps or heat energy and plug in the main pipeline to make
money and end users can get energy for all their applications at a much cheep
rate for all their utility needs.

SEA GATE-1
There are no many miles long
underground pipe lines, only few short feet is enough. Ocean waves lifts the
float which lifts the piston that compresses the upper chamber and compressed
air is forced through a one way valve and cannot go back into the cylinder. At
the same time the upper valve shuts down by air pressure. As the wave passes
float drops down dropping the attached piston also. The upper chamber deflates
and the upper air inlet valve opens to fill up the expanding space. At the same
time dropping piston creates compression in the lower chamber which shuts down
the lower air intake valve and the compressed air is forced out through one way
valve again in a single wave cycle. The beauty of this simple technology is that
all valves action is fully automatic & synchronized with the waves as they are
the power source and no manual calibration is required.

Everything that
operates on electric power can be operated by compressed air. In the
United States we had compressed air locomotives and trams as preferred
means of transportation in the year 1800-1930. We still have some of them
in our museums today. The word compressed air engine mysteriously
disappeared from engineering text books in 1930. Petroleum based engines
were perfected and since oil was cheaper than water therefore everyone
jumped in the oil band wagon and compressed air technology patents were
left in the history archives.

The facts on the ground are now very different today. There is a need to
re-strategize our future planning for our energy requirements. We have
caused enough damage to our environment beyond critical point and now it
is time for damage control. It should be now or never.

ocean waves as a free driver to compress air for us at a price that beats

The question why ocean waves are the preferred choice of compressed air
source is the fact that the density of ocean wave power ratio is 800 times
that of air. It is estimated by experts that one square meter ocean wave
has the energy equal to 36 kilowatt of electricity. When this mighty power
is available as a free driver, all other costs involved are establishment
of air pumping stations, their maintenance and delivery expenses. Since
air stations are based on coastline instead of Deep Ocean, therefore the
expenses involved are significantly minimal. This low budget startup and
on going cost will create thousand of new jobs in coastal communities and
will encourage them to invest in this new cottage industry.

Once we upload compressed air the next step is delivery. We can use the
same or similar delivery system that is used for the delivery of natural
gas. We can set the pressure at 500 psi like natural gas delivery lines
for plug in and plug out. Individual power providers can generate
compressed air by solar, wind heat, river or ocean wave and plug it in to
sell and the consumer can plug out this power at a very economical rate
for their utility needs. This kind of pipe line will become a substitute
of oil and natural gas line giving us true freedom from fossil fuel
without any threat of depletion ever.

Producing electrical power will be an option at site without transmission
lines and line losses which will take off the load from existing
electrical cables and will reduce the cost significantly in the absence of
ugly looking network of transmission lines and their poles.

Compressed air economy will make “harmful emissions” a thing of the past.
It costs lot less, it is non-explosive, it is non-deplete able, and sync

Flotation based pumps are perfectly safe to marine life and since only the
support frame is underneath the water which is stationary and the only
moving part is above the surface of the sea therefore it does not and
cannot harm marine life not does it endangers entanglement of marine life
in the air stations because they are based at shoreline.

Wave Power Plant Inc. is testing its prototype compressed air station with
a bi-directional pump called SEA GATE-1 to double its production than

The oil prices will continue
to rise due to wars, natural disasters, politics, greed & depleting oil
reserves.
Auto industry is
considering options towards hydrogen economy or electric hybrids in the US
whereas Europe is considering adapting compressed air as a substitute as well.

Sea waves are
24/7 and unlimited. 2/3rd of the earth surface is ocean however this device is
primarily focused only in coastal areas.
The present day
analogy is like the early days of windows and apple computers. Only that company
will prevail in global energy market who can establish a transitional
infrastructure followed by a permanent one, based on pure economic viability to
set the hallmark for future global energy.

players in oil industry are investing in solar and wind farms and looking for

source has its own plus and minus characteristics.
Wind power is
24/7 but unpredictable in most parts of the globe. Most areas are not suitable
enough for commercial energy production being located in the normal wind range

Has anyone tried
this method before?
Currently only few
companies have established power plants by using wave energy by using
the raising water column in a closed chamber creating air pressure to run
turbines.
The disadvantage in their system is that wave action has a variable frequency
and these
fluctuations cause serious hindrance in a continuous operation at a uniform
speed and pace.
Whereas in my invention more fluctuation translates into more energy production.
Secondly in their closed loop system the bouncing energy cancels out a large
amount of
incoming wave energy thus reducing its efficiency whereas in my device, both
incoming or
retreating wave add up the productivity.

Prior art of harnessing sea wave energy has been focused to use the same volume
of
air that originally was trapped in their respective devices, resulting in major
reduction of
force in its working medium due to the same volume dividing the pressure based
on the
size of the exit hole.
· Like 20
Ton force may generate less than 25 psi based at the exit size where the turbine
is set to work.
· In this
invention the same 20 tone force generated by the float is transmitted and
applied
to the piston which has a small area as compared to the float area, resulting in
tremendous buildup pressure against the trapped air which transforms into useful
energy and when accumulated with multiple bi-directional pumps using both wave
curve energy (bouncy as well as kinetic energy) by earth gravity makes my
invention a
